The primary purpose of the Company is to provide a platform for accurately displaying technical information about products listed on the website. Our platform operates as a community-curated website to accurately display technical information about all domain-related products, allowing users to freely enter, edit, and verify information for accuracy purposes.

  • Product data facts, technical specifications, and original product images generated by real users as product users.
  • Product-related questions and answers from and by users.
  • Optional personal details are provided by users during registration for identification and a richer user experience. Therefore users are not required to provide their real names, addresses, or any other personal details to be able to use the Site or contribute content to the Site.

How do we use the information?

  • All product information provided will be seen and used by everyone and will be permanently logged and stay on the Site even if it is corrected and edited throughout the time. The page history (public Edit log) will show when the contribution was made or edited and by whom (Username).
  • We may use contributions, either aggregated or individual, to create new features or data-related products or features on the Site in the future, or to learn more about how the Site is used. 
  • Product information will not be deleted when you delete your account and we will not delete product information on request. Product information is considered public knowledge and not part of your private data.

How long do we keep the information?

We only keep personal information as long as necessary to maintain, understand, and improve the Site or to comply with applicable law. Personal information is deleted, aggregated, or de-identified after 90 days. Non-personal information may be retained indefinitely as appropriate. Furthermore, when a contribution is made it may stay on the Site as de-identified information for an unlimited amount of time.

User rights

Users have the following rights regarding their information:

  • Users have no intellectual rights to the product information provided in the product specifications and questions/answers sections. All product information is considered public knowledge and is open for editing by others.
  • Users can easily access, correct, or delete information both as Anonymous or Registered users.
  • All and any edit history is public and logged. 

If users would like to request to access, update, or restrict/object to the processing of personal information, or receive a copy of their personal information for purposes of transmitting it to another organization, they may contact us with such requests. We will respond to the request consistent with applicable law.

Please note also that users may be able to exercise some of these rights without our intervention. For example, the User can access and update some personal information in the user's Profile Settings section. Users can also manage what kinds of notifications they want to receive and how often. This can be done by going to the Notification Settings section on the Site.

Policy updates

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Users will be notified of any changes via all available means of communication and/or on the Site.

Legal compliance

We are compliant with necessary data protection laws for product technical information and copyright laws. Product technical information is considered common knowledge. Therefore users are responsible for the content they upload, especially images of the products.
